Beaver Dam High School will induct four new members into its Athletic Hall of Fame during Homecoming events this weekend. RJ Shelton, Joe Loizzo, Jim Braemer and Jim Fischer will all be honored in the Class of 2023. This year’s honorees will take part in the pregame pep rally and Homecoming parade. After the induction ceremony and dinner, this year’s class will be introduced at halftime of the Golden Beavers game with Watertown at HH Derleth Field.

Katie Schilling downed Aquila Palacios 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, while Quetzal Peterson outlasted Allie Hinz 6-3, 6-4 at No. 4 singles. After outdueling Emily Schulz and Sinai Palacios 7-6 (3) in the first set, Lodi’s No. 2 doubles team of Megan Smith and Norah Gruel finished off their opponents 6-0 in the second. Jason Erickson, Jefferson, fittingly won the 2023 state championship in the Late Model division after a track championship last Saturday.
