Rutgers football offers standout class of 2026 running back Jaylen McGill
Jaylen McGill, one of the top running back prospects in the class of 2026, was offered by Rutgers football on Monday. The offer from Rutgers now puts McGill at five offers from Power Five programs. Twice named an All-American by MaxPreps, McGill will be a junior this fall at Broome (Spartanburg, South Carolina). Last year in 10 games played, he had 1,602 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns. In eight games, he topped 100 yards rushing. McGill averaged a staggering 9.1 yards per carry. The committee is looking to honor former Linden High School athletes, coaches, teams, and sports contributors who have made a distinctive contribution to the athletic program. BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Governor Livingston High School hosted the Union Country Conference Championships on May 9-11, with Varsity Boys and Girls Track & Field teams both competing in the Mountain division. Rutgers softball adds Brearley High School star to 2024 class
With the 2024 season over, Rutgers softball will get an extended break before returning to action. However, the Scarlet Knights have stayed busy as they added a new face to mix in Leah Sims. Last week, Sims announced that she had committed to Rutgers. In 252 games for Brearley High School softball (Kenilworth, New Jersey), Sims posted a .389 batting average while driving in 62 runs.
