LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The City of Lima making an investment in the future development of downtown Lima. The for sale sign on the Riverfront One building on South Main Street can come down. The City of Lima has purchased the building for possible development. It has been vacant for many years and Mayor Sharetta Smith says it could hold several options for the continued revitalization that is happening in the city's center. With its location along the Ottawa River it could also open up more possibilities of improving the river corridor.

South Side Lima Collision Hospitalizes Two
Earlier today, a car crash on the south side of Lima led to two people being taken to the hospital. The accident took place a little after 10:30 a.m., involving two vehicles at the intersection of Fourth Street and Central Avenue.
Sidney woman sentenced in hit-and-run case
Sep. 26—A Sidney woman was sentenced to a prison term in Delaware County Court on Monday, after here conviction on vehicular assault charges. Acting District Attorney Shawn J. Smith announced in a media release Courtni N. Baker, 32, appeared before Judge John L. Hubbard Sept. 25, and was sentenced for aggravated vehicular assault. Hubbard sentenced Baker to an indeterminate term of state prison having a minimum of four years and a maximum of 12 years. Hubbard also sentenced her to serve a concurrent one-year sentence for her conviction of aggravated driving while intoxicated. The court also imposed fines totaling $2,270 and ordered that Baker's license be revoked.

One Arrested on I-80 for ‘Bulk’ Transport of Illegal Drugs
DANVILLE — NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… State police arrested an Ohio woman after they found narcotics, paraphernalia, and a weapon during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 eastbound in Liberty Township, Montour County. Troopers say, around 11am, September 22, they stopped a car for a traffic violation.
