RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph softball team held a combined "Senior Night / Teacher Appreciation Night" on Monday, May 13. After the pre-game ceremony honoring the soon-to-be graduated seniors along with their families and their most influential teachers, the Lady Rams treated those who came out to a 3-0 victory. SPARTA, NJ – The high school girls lacrosse team honored their seniors before the game on Monday. Jayne Bleakly, wearing number 21, was accompanied by her mother Morgan, father Rob and brother Truman. In the fall Bleakly will be attending Clemson University to pursue a degree in business. She has been playing lacrosse for seven years, including four years on the Sparta varsity squad as an attacker. Two Newton Girls Golfers Compete in Tournament Championships
Newton, NJ—The Newton High School had two girls from the high school girls golf team compete in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex championships on Thursday. Wheelchair athletes headed to Morris County for Adaptive Sports festival this weekend

The Wheelchair Sports Federation will give you plenty of opportunities when it holds its annual Adaptive Sports and Family Day at Central Park of Morris County on Saturday and Sunday. The two-day celebration of sport and inclusion is also sponsored by the DAWN Center for Independent Living in Denville.
Newton High School Baseball Wins Big Over Lenape Valley
NEWTON, NJ—The Newton High School baseball team won 12-6 over Lenape Valley when they played them away on Friday, May 10. Ryan Bollette went 3-for-5 with three singles, one RBI, scoring twice. Maxwell Maslowski went 1-for-2 with three runs and a single. Mason Bucci and Wolfe were on the hill for the Braves. Bucci threw 104 pitches in 4.1 innings. He allowed five runs off four hits and struck out five. Wolfe threw 48 pitches in 2.2 innings. He allowed one run off one hit with two strikeouts. The Newton High School baseball team’s overall record is 5-15 and their NJAC-Freedom division record is 1-8. Kim Curcio tallied seven goals and three assists for a career-high of 10 points to lead Hackettstown to a 21-11 win over Gill St. Bernard’s in Hackettstown. Sparta Girls Lacrosse Edges Out Caldwell
SPARTA, NJ – The girls lacrosse team battled to a 9-8 win on Monday over Caldwell, after honoring the seniors in a ceremony before the game. It was a physical game from whistle to whistle. Uma Kowalski and Moira Sweeney each netted four for Sparta. Grace Johnson added a goal. Caldwell had the upper hand in the first quarter putting four in the net to Sparta’s two. The Spartans got their footing in the second quarter netting three while the defense held the Chief to one, leaving the score even at the half. Sparta continued the pressure in the second half with the same 3-1 score in the third. Caldwell got two in the fourth to bring it even again, but Sparta finished on top with a goal of their own.
