2 Henrico students earn National Merit Scholarships
Two Henrico students were among 14 from Virginia who were named winners in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Qingyuan Hu and Sandor Preda, both students at Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School in Richmond and residents of Glen Allen, were among about 770 students nationally selected for the program.

Fourth Groovin’ in the Garden series band announced

Hanover Board of Supervisors pull commendation for Girl Scout who created ‘Banned Book Nook’
During a Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, April 10, the board was getting ready to go over the proclamations for the Girl Scouts when F. Michael Herzberg, IV, who represents the county's Cold Harbor District, motioned to pull the one for the creator of the "Banned Book Nook." All board members voted to approve the motion.
