Body in ‘advanced’ stage of decomposition found in Henrico County
According to the Henrico County Division of Police, officers were called to the 4300 block of Carolina Avenue after a person was walking in the woods nearby and found a dead body at around 4:30 on Thursday, April 25.
Henrico Schools to host ‘Drive the Bus’ event May 4
Henrico Schools will host its “Drive the Bus” career event Saturday, May 4 at Glen Allen High school for applicants who are considering becoming school bus drivers. In addition to getting to test-drive a school bus, participants will be able to learn more about the responsibilities of bus drivers and how they are paid. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to all applicants over the age of 21. Candidates for full-time and substitute driver positions must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P/S (Passenger Transportation/School Bus) and airbrakes. Applicants also will be required to pass a physical and drug test.
