What started out as a small pickle company during the pandemic is now a full-fledged restaurant in the Pittsburgh area.

“The Brinery” recently opened in Sharpsburg at 914 Main Street and offers more than just pickles.

Hand-made sandwiches, homemade pickles, pierogies, lobster, sides desserts and many more mouth-watering food items.

Co-owner Joe Bardakos tells KDKA Radio they make everything from scratch. That includes “the bread to the mayos, and everything in between.”

Bridge City Brinery also operates two food trucks, each offering different kinds of local and homemade flavors.

The restaurant in Sharpsburg is also now welcoming local breweries to their location so customers can fill up on food and try the latest beers available from some of the best local brewers in the area.
