PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. - Authorities in Warren County, New Jersey say a man suspected of discharging his gun in Phillipsburg was arrested in the Lehigh Valley. Accidental Fire Suppression Discharge Halts Operations at Warren County Public Safety Building, Temporary 911 Services Established
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - An incident that led to a fire suppression discharge occurred today, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Warren County Public Safety Building and 911 Communications Center on Route 57 in Franklin Township. According to a statement from the County of Warren Public Information Department, the incident involved an accidental fire suppression discharge caused by outside contractors working on the building.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER County employees were checked, cleared and released from the hospital as a precaution. Temporary 911 emergency communications were established right away using the County’s Fieldcomm mobile communications vehicle in conjunction with the Phillipsburg Dispatch Center.
