    An incident that led to a fire suppression discharge occurred today, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Warren County Public Safety Building and 911 Communications Center on Route 57 in Franklin Township.

    FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - An incident that led to a fire suppression discharge occurred today, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Warren County Public Safety Building and 911 Communications Center on Route 57 in Franklin Township.

    According to a statement from the County of Warren Public Information Department, the incident involved an accidental fire suppression discharge caused by outside contractors working on the building.

    County employees were checked, cleared and released from the hospital as a precaution.

    Temporary 911 emergency communications were established right away using the County’s Fieldcomm mobile communications vehicle in conjunction with the Phillipsburg Dispatch Center.

    The County of Warren says they are expecting to have the Communications Center back up and running between 5-6 p.m. this evening.
