The healthcare clinics are part of the Operation Healthy Delta Innovative Readiness Training program, which offers an opportunity for service members to provide needed care to uninsured or underinsured patients while gaining valuable first-hand knowledge in the medical field before deployment.

Crews on scene of tractor trailer fire on Hwy 60 near Poplar Bluff
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - Firefighters and crews with MoDOT are on the scene of a large tractor trailer fire on Highway 60 near Poplar Bluff, Missouri. According to Sgt. Clark Parrott with Missouri State Highway Patrol, a tractor trailer hauling hay caught on fire. All of the hay bales were engulfed in flames.

Crash report for SE Missouri
One man has been sent to the hospital for serious injuries following a crash that occurred in Stoddard County yesterday afternoon. Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E responded to a crash on County Road 442, one mile north of Dexter. The crash occurred as the vehicle, a 2007 Ford Focus, ran off the right side of the road and overturned. The driver of the vehicle was 52-year-old Joseph Gilmore from Mississippi. Gilmore was heading eastbound when the overturn happened. Gilmore was taken by ambulance to Southeast Health in Dexter for serious injuries, and his vehicle is probably totaled.
Poplar Bluff teen arrested following pursuit
One person was taken into custody following a Memorial Day pursuit in Poplar Bluff. The Poplar Bluff Police Department reports that 19-year-old Brett McCoy was arrested shortly before 10 pm Monday night after a short motor vehicle pursuit with a Poplar Bluff Police Officer. McCoy was booked into the Butler County Jail on charges of felony endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, trespassing, and several traffic offenses.

On June 4, around 12:24 p.m., Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E responded to a crash on County Road 442, one mile north of Dexter. According to an online traffic crash report, the crash occurred as the vehicle, a 2007 Ford Focus, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Man faces possible life sentence for fatal shooting
Officials say that a murder trial that was originally scheduled to begin yesterday will not be going forward. Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Nicholas Jain says that 38-year-old Steven Kirkwood, of Malden, has pleaded guilty to a charge of second degree murder. The charge stems from the August 2020 shooting of Ryan Lehnig at a party in Malden. Jain says that Kirkwood faces up to life in prison at his sentencing on July 12th.
One dead after wreck in Ripley County
A Doniphan man is dead after a wreck that happened in Ripley County Friday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 56-year-old Danny Caudill was walking along Highway U, 3 miles south of Doniphan, when a truck driven by 18-year-old Allison Skaggs, of Doniphan, hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This is the 29th fatality for Troop E this year.
