Paul Finebaum Locks In One Final Four Pick Ahead Of Sweet 16

The first two rounds of the 2024 NCAA Tournament have come and gone, and the Sweet 16 tips off on Thursday night as we continue to narrow down the field.

The Sweet 16 features some big-time matchups, like Duke vs. Houston, UNC vs. Alabama, and Tennessee vs. Creighton.

The Tennessee vs. Creighton matchup is one that's warranting a bunch of chatter. And Paul Finebaum made it clear that he not only has the Vols winning the game, but he still has Tennessee as one of his Final Four teams at the moment.

"I'm feeling a lot better about the Vols," Finebaum said. "I believe Tennessee can get to the Final Four."

Many had picked the two-seeded Vols to make the Final Four before the tournament started. After dominating St. Peter's in the first round, they held on to beat Texas in Round 2.

Creighton, a three-seed, used double overtime to beat Oregon in the last round.

Tennessee is a small favorite to beat Creighton - only 2.5 points.

If the Vols do win and advance to the Elite 8, they'll be facing the winner of Purdue vs. Gonzaga. Finebaum's statement means he thinks Tennessee would go on to win that game as well.
