Fans Are Buzzing After Big 12 Program's Major Transfer Portal Addition

Kansas State fans received an important transfer portal commitment on Sunday.

Per On3 , former Colorado running back Dylan Edwards is headed to Manhattan, Kansas for the 2024 season.

Last year, Edwards led the Buffaloes with 112 touches and was third in yards from scrimmage (620). His five touchdowns were tied for the second-most on the team.

With his addition, the Wildcats have one of the best backfields in the new-look Big 12 conference, which this summer will add Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah.

Edwards joins fellow running back D.J. Giddens, who had 223 carries, 1,226 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns last season.

Both backs are receiving threats as well. Edwards had 36 receptions, 299 yards and four touchdowns in 2023, while Giddens finished with 29 receptions, 323 yards and three touchdowns.

Wildcats fans could hardly contain their excitement.
