The Los Angeles Lakers have officially been eliminated from the 2024 NBA playoffs after a five-game series loss to the Denver Nuggets. Los Angeles' loss doesn't just leave question for the Lakers' future, but it shines light on LeBron James.

James' future with the Lakers and with the NBA as a whole has been up in the air. The Lakers superstar has a player option in the summer of 2025, but it's unknown what he'll look to do at the tail end of his career.

Whether he stays with the Lakers or attempts to pack his bags for another franchise, NBA fans are in agreement that his reign in the playoffs is over.

James went to 11 straight Finals, but since then it's been a difficult road back.

Fans believe he can no longer add a championship to his resume. James has won four in his career, three of which came with different organizations.

He seems to still have gas left in the tank, but the league doesn't belong to NBA veterans like James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry anymore. It's a young man's league led by guys like Anthony Edwards, Luka Doncic, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
