The WNBA season is officially underway, and fans are circling one game on the calendar. On Sunday, June 2, the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky will battle it out on the hardwood.

It's the first time Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will play each other since the 2024 NCAA women's basketball tournament, when Clark and the Hawkeyes avenged their national title loss to the LSU Tigers in 2023. It took the Clark vs. Reese rivalry to new heights.

Originally when the WNBA schedule came out, fans were disappointed to discover that June 2nd bout between the Sky and Fever was not going to be a nationally televised game. Think again.

ESPN has announced that it will air the Sky vs. Fever game on its main channel that Sunday afternoon at noon ET. It's been flexed by the league and network to ensure fans get a chance to see Clark and Reese battle it out.

This was a no-brainer decision by the WNBA and ESPN. Fans are highly anticipating the Reese vs. Clark showdown.
