Breanna Stewart Makes Her Opinion of Caitlin Clark Extremely Clear

On Thursday night, Caitlin Clark will take the court for her home opener when the Indiana Fever face off against the New York Liberty.

The Liberty boast some serious veteran talent on their roster, including reigning WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart.

Before Clark was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Stewart made her thoughts on the rising superstar very clear.

"I think she's a great player. I think it'll be really exciting to see her go to the WNBA because a lot will translate," Stewart said. "... The thing that's going to translate the quickest and fastest for her is her shot making ability. She can make it from wherever. That doesn't go away."

In fact, Stewart went as far as to say Clark would beat Stephen Curry in a three-point shootout.

Clark recorded 20 points in her regular-season debut, but struggled with 10 turnovers as well. The superstar rookie will look to tighten things up in Thursday night's contest against Stewart and the Liberty.

Fever vs. Liberty will tip off at 7 p.m. ET.
