Air quality in Pittsburgh reached levels unhealthy for those with certain conditions Wednesday, as smoke from Canadian wildfires continued to pollute the Northeast. Measurements of PM2.5 hit 104 in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, which is considered “unhealthy for sensitive groups” by the Allegheny County Health Department. PM2.5 measures fine particulate matter, which are mixtures of solids and liquid droplets in the air that can be inhaled and contain hundreds of different chemicals.

Vehicle crashes into Washington County Dairy Queen
WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- A vehicle crashed into a Dairy Queen in Washington County Monday, leaving behind a giant hole. The crash happened around 4 p.m. at the Dairy Queen on East Wylie Avenue in Washington. Minor injuries were reported but no one was taken to the hospital.
