The Alfred State western equestrian team had another strong showing as they finished the 2023 portion of their schedule at Alfred University. A trio of Pioneers earned first place finishes. Morgan Alemy (Milton, VT) was 1st in Level 1 in the AM show and 2nd in the PM show, Jordan Henry (Little Valley, NY) was 1st in Rookie A in the afternoon after finishing 6th in the morning, and Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) was 1st in horsemanship and 2nd in reining in the afternoon after finished 3rd in both categories in the morning.
