Riverside Comes in Third, AHSTW in Fourth, and Audubon in Eighth in WIC Boy’s Track Championship
(Neola, IA) – At the Western Iowa Conference Boy’s Track and Field Championship, the Underwood Eagles took the top spot once again with a total of 134 team points. Riverside came in third with 101 points, AHSTW in fourth with 90 team points, and Audubon came in eighth with 54.
Exira-EHK Aiming for Low Scores to Close Out the Regular Season Before Sectionals
(Elk Horn, IA) – The scores continue to go down for the Exira-EHK Spartans golf team as they continue to work hard and have fun. At the 5×80 golf course last Thursday, the Spartans featured almost every varsity golfer in the mid to low 50s and shot 217 as a team. That was an impressive effort, especially given the wind on the course and the length of the course to add to it all. Head Coach Tom Petersen was proud of his boys for performing as well as they did with their inexperience on the course and what they were able to achieve.
AHSTW Boy’s Golf Swinging in the Right Direction
(Avoca, IA) – AHSTW ended up in fifth place on Wednesday afternoon at Nishna Hills for the Western Iowa Conference boy’s golf tournament. The Vikings were able to shoot a 352 as a team and were able to do so for the first time this season on an 18-hole course. Head Coach Aaron Allspach was happy with how his boys took on the extra nine holes and actually ended up playing better with the extra nine holes.

AHSTW Boys Win Final Golf Dual of Regular Season Over Tri-Center
(Avoca, IA) – At the Avoca CountryView Club on Friday, the AHSTW Vikings boy’s golf team was able to win their last dual of the regular season with a 192-230 victory. On the girl’s side, Tri-Center was able to finish with a total of 230. Both the medalist and the runner-up came on the side of the Vikings with Drew Lee earning a 45 while Kaden Jorgensen was able to shoot a 49. On the girl’s side, Addy Reninbaugh was the medalist with 52 and the runner-up was Natalie Ausdemore of Tri-Center with a 53. The Vikings will return to the course again in postseason play at the Quail Run Golf Course on May 8th. You can find all the results below.
