(Sac County) The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says shortly before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office received a call from an individual who reported he discovered a body in his field. Griswold Golf Has Elevated Their Performance With a Young Squad
(Griswold, IA) – Griswold golf has already had a busy week with golf matchups on Monday and Tuesday. The boys fell in both matchups but featured Hogan Hook as a medalist on Monday while the boys didn’t feature a medalist in yesterday’s dual against Underwood. Adair County Supervisors Hold Public Hearing on Ordinance Regulating the Placement of Data Centers
(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing this morning on an ordinance regulating the placement of data centers. A draft ordinance on setbacks was created after the Supervisors heard from Nick Phillips and Lance Cummins of Applied Digital about a possible data center location near Adair. Adair County currently does not have a Comprehensive Planning and Zoning plan and that is why they have created these ordinances.
Nodaway Valley Boys Golf Takes Victory While Girls Fall to Martensdale-St. Mary’s
(Indianola, IA) – At the Deer Run Golf Club on Tuesday, the Nodaway Valley boy’s golf team took advantage of the windy conditions and was able to beat Martensdale-St. Marys 173-217 while the Nodaway Valley girls fell 222-229. The boys had a great performance overall, as Landon Klobnak led things as the medalist while shooting 37 on the course and was one under par up until the final hole. Coming up as the runner-up was another Wolverine, Zack Gebbie who shot a 40 overall on a windy day. The girls didn’t favor the wind as much, as Martensdale-St. Mary’s Kathryn Ballard earned the medalist spot while shooting a 48. Ashlyn Gutierrez was able to come out after shooting a 50 for Nodaway Valley as the runner-up. You can find all the results below.

Roosevelt Oliver, son of Andrew W. Oliver, Sr. and Della Mae Marston was born on June 1st, 1956 in Durant, Mississippi. He was the brother of four siblings; Bobbi Jean, Patricia, Andrew Jr., and Alfred. At a young age, Roosevelt was baptized at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Durant, MS. Later, the family decided to relocate and put down roots in Waterloo, IA. Roosevelt attended and received an education at West Waterloo High School in Waterloo, IA.
