Indians split with St. Charles West
Competing on their home wrestling mats for the first time this season, Pacific’s boys carried the night with a 30-point win over St. Charles West. Pacific’s boys won the dual meet, 54-24, but St. Charles West made it a split night by winning the girls dual, 48-30.

Union wins thriller over St. James, captures first state title since 2013
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - After three consecutive runner-up finishes, Union captured the State Championship title for the first time since 2013. Down 35-28 to St. James with 11 seconds left in the game, Jy’Marion Island scored his second rushing touchdown of the game. Head Coach Joe Spatafora and the Farmers elected to go for two, and Island got the two-point conversion to seal the State Championship for Union, 36-35.

Knights advance to St. Charles West title game
For the second time this season, the St. Francis Borgia boys basketball Knights will be playing for a tournament championship. Thanks to a 63-48 victory over Ritenour Wednesday, the Knights (6-0) moved to the St. Charles West Tournament championship contest.

Lady Indians fall in semifinals at Herculaneum
Monday, they made jerky out of Herky, but the Pacific basketball Lady Indians could not unseat the Lutheran South Lady Lancers Wednesday. Lutheran South (4-1), the second seed in the Herculaneum Tournament, defeated Pacific (2-2), the No. 3 seed, in the semifinal round, 60-24.

Lady Jays end second in GAC tri-meet
Just four points separated the Washington swimming Lady Jays from the top of a conference tri-meet Wednesday. Swimming at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, Washington scored 116 points to finish second behind Wentzville Liberty (120). Ft. Zumwalt East was the third team in the mix, finishing with 79 points.
