17-year-old killed in crash overnight
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A 17-year-old from Union was killed in a single-car crash Saturday night in Franklin County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving on Liberty School Road in Franklin County when he traveled off of the road and hit a tree. The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
I-44 Eastbound reopened in Franklin County
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - I-44 Eastbound was closed in Franklin County due to a car accident Sunday afternoon. According to MoDOT, the accident was reported around 1:15 p.m. The accident has been cleared. The road was closed around mile marker 250.
Franklin County couple involved in motorcycle crash, one dies, the other seriously injured
A Franklin County motorcyclist dies in a traffic accident in southeast Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Matthew Pauk, 40, of Leslie, was riding his bike on Highway 32 just west of Belleview on Sunday afternoon when he lost control in a curve. The patrol says Pauk’s bike traveled off the road and struck a guard rail. Pauk, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 Sunday afternoon sent a Lake Ozark resident to a St. Louis hospital, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The highway patrol reports that at 12:19 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, Bryon Hams, 72, of Ferguson, came to a stop in the left lane on Interstate 44 headed eastbound just west of mile marker 250.8. Collin Kessinger, 24, of Opdyke, Illinois, struck the rear end of Hams' 2015 Cheverolet Cruze.
