Salem Armed Robbery Suspects Apprehended in Joint Police Operation
Two suspects were arrested on December 4, 2023, for a series of armed robberies in Salem, Oregon. The Salem Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), and Oregon State Police (OSP) conducted the joint operation. The robberies started on November 17, with six businesses targeted. The suspects used guns to threaten employees and demand money. Four incidents happened in Salem, and two were in the MCSO's jurisdiction.
