Lebanon firefighters respond swiftly to shed fire
LACOMB, Ore. – Firefighters responded to a shed fire in an unincorporated area of Linn County early on Tuesday, according to the Lebanon Fire District. Fire officials said that fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire at about 12:12 a.m. on April 23 in the 33000 block of Ford Mill Road. Initial reports described the incident as a shed containing livestock that was on fire and responding firefighters arrived to find a 20-by-30-foot shed that was fully involved in fire and spreading to a vehicle parked nearby, authorities said. District officials said that firefighters quickly knocked the fire down and prevented it from spreading to other vehicles parked nearby. The Lebanon Fire District responded to the incident with two engines, three water tenders, two ambulances, and a battalion chief vehicle, authorities said. District officials said that the Albany Fire Department provided community coverage for the district during the firefighters’ response.
