No. 1 EDGE In Illinois Iose Epenesa Announces Top 10 Schools

Four-star EDGE Iose Epenesa announced his top 10 schools on Sunday. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder is from Edwardsville, Illinois.

Epenesa's top schools are Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, Penn State, Iowa, Miami, Utah, Michigan, Illinois, and Oregon.

Epenesa is the No. 50 overall prospect and No. 5 edge rusher in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 edge rusher and No. 2 player in Illinois, according to the On3 industry rankings .

He earned MaxPreps Freshman All-American honors and followed it up with another impressive sophomore season, earning Sophomore All-American honors. Epenesa finished his sophomore season with 56 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks, and one fumble recovery.

He is the younger brother of NFL defensive end AJ Epenesa, who was a two-time All-Big Ten selection at Iowa.
