Former Five-Star Running Back Re-enters College Football Transfer Portal

Former UCF Knights running back Demarkcus Bowman is starting to become quite the journeyman as he eyes his seventh season of college football. The former five-star recruit from the 2020 cycle already made stops with the Clemson Tigers and the Florida Gators ahead of his time with the Knights. Bowman clocked in as the No. 3 running back, No. 4 player in Florida, and the No. 21 overall recruit during the 2020 cycle according to On3’s Industry Rankings.

“UCF RB Demarkcus Bowman has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, @PeteNakos_ reports. The class of 2020 five-star recruit has made previous stops at Clemson & Florida,” On3 posted.

This will be Bowman’s fourth program as he looks ahead to his fifth year of college football. Bowman amassed 182 total scrimmage yards and one touchdown in his career ahead of his most recent decision to transfer.
