Allen brothers compete at SLC Tournament for Beloit Memorial
ELKHORN, Wis. — The Southern Lakes Conference golf season wrapped up with the conference tournament hosted by the Elkhorn Elks on Wednesday at Evergreen Country Club, which was yet another course that Beloit Memorial golfers Max and Marcus Allen had yet to play on. Learning the course on the go, senior Max Allen shot an 87 to place 21st while his brother Marcus shot an 88 to place 23rd. Elkhorn’s Evan Ahler did a strong job defending his home course as he shot a 70 to win the meet’s medalist honors while Waterford’s Robbie Meyers was one-shot behind in second. The Wolverines dominated the meet winning the team title with a score of 302, well ahead of second-place Westosha Central’s 321. The Allen brothers will be back in action on Tuesday at the WIAA Division 1 Monroe Regional.
