WHITEWATER, Wis. — Former Peshtigo High School softball standout Grace Wickman garnered All-Conference laurels from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on Thursday.

Wickman, a 2021 graduate of Peshtigo and a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was one of four members of the Warhawk softball team that were selected as All-WIAC for the performances during the 2024 season.

Playing third base for UW-Whitewater, Wickman established herself as one of the top hitters in the WIAC.

Wickman was third on the Warhawks in batting average (.422) while collecting 54 hits, 11 of which were doubles and four home runs. She slugged .633 and had an on-base percentage of .464.

Against WIAC opponents, Wickman hit .455 and led the league in doubles with seven.

Wickman, a Communication major, is now a two-time All-WIAC selection after earning Honorable Mention last season.

Wickman helped the Warhawks win the WIAC tournament championship, which secured UW-Whitewater an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III tournament.
