WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Haysville teen’s recovery continues approaching a month since his life changed forever. On May 11, Anakin Zehring was shot in the parking lot of the Goddard Walmart. Instead of walking across the stage for his high school graduation and preparing for the next steps, he’s in the hospital recovering from a broken spine and punctured intestines.
Homicide: Still no arrest reported after bodies found in rural Kansas
SEDGWICK COUNTY —The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation after two bodies were located near the 300 Block of River Road in rural Sumner County, according to Sedgwick County Sheriff's Lt. Nathan Gibbs. The Sheriff’s Office has identified several suspects in the case. Authorities have not reported an arrest.

One person has died after a shooting in southeast Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - One person has died after a shooting in southeast Wichita. Sedgwick County dispatch said the call of a shooting in the 4800 block of east Funston, near Harry and Oliver, came in just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived they found one person unresponsive. That person later passed away.
