This come-and-go event, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., is free to all new and expecting parents who want to learn about community resources, self care and mental health connections, safe sleep techniques, breastfeeding resources, and smoking cessation information.

Man accused of child sex crimes in SW Kan. over several years
FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on child sex crime allegations involving three juvenile victims known to him. On March 22, police in Garden City received a report of child sexual assault and began an investigation, according to a media release from police. HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson Public Works Traffic Division is implementing improvements to the traffic signals at the intersection of 30th Ave and Halstead St to include protected left turns for eastbound and westbound traffic. These changes will designate the inside lanes on both east and west directions of 30th Ave to accommodate both through traffic and left turns. NASHVILLE (AP) —Guitar legend Dickey Betts, who co-founded the Allman Brothers Band and wrote their biggest hit, “Ramblin’ Man,” has died. He was 80. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer died at his home in Osprey, Florida, David Spero, Betts’ manager of 20 years, confirmed. Betts had been battling cancer for more than a year and had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Spero said.
