Smyrna HS teacher charged with offensive touching of students
A four-month investigation has led to the arrest of a Smyrna High School teacher for three counts of offensive touching. According to Smyrna Police, a hotline received allegations that 40-year-old Kanika Jackson was verbally and physically abusing students in class. Allegations include pulling a student's hair, grabbing a student by the neck and shaking the student, and grabbing a student by the neck and pushing the student into a wall.
