Patrick Mahomes is Trending After Courtside Appearance at Mavericks Game

Patrick Mahomes is in the house for the Dallas Mavericks' Game 3 matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday afternoon.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, along with his wife, Brittany, sat courtside at the American Airlines Center for the second-round NBA playoff game.

Mahomes is trending on social media after the ESPN broadcast showed him before tipoff.

"Shout out to Patrick Mahomes man! He's ten toes down behind the Mavericks lol like a real fan!" one fan wrote.

Mahomes was born in Tyler, Texas and went to high school in Whitehouse. He stayed in the state for his collegiate career, playing for the Texas Tech Red Raiders before entering the NFL ranks as the Kansas City Chiefs' first-round draft pick in 2017.

Mahomes is cheering on his NBA team as they look to break their 1-1 series tie with the No. 1 seed Thunder. After falling in Game 1, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Mavs bounced back with an impressive win on the road in Game 2.
