Luka Doncic got plenty of good news on Wednesday. Not only did he lead the Dallas Mavericks to a Game 1 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals, but he was also named to the All-NBA Team prior to the showdown.

Doncic is part of the All-NBA First Team alongside fellow MVP finalists Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as well  as Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum. As a result of the incredible feat, Doncic is now poised to sign the largest contract in NBA history.

Exactly how much is that? Well, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN, Doncic is eligible to sign a five-year contract worth $346 million.

Luka Doncic, however, won't be able to receive the crazy contract until 2025. That is because  of the seven-year service requirement in the NBA before a player can sign an extension.

Doncic is only in his sixth year in the NBA, with the 2024-25 season set to be his seventh.

While Slovenian star will have to wait for a little bit, the Mavs will definitely be quick to offer him his massive deal once he's eligible. After all, they wouldn't want to wait more to keep the services of one of the brightest young players in the league for another half decade.
