The Ohio State Buckeyes are no strangers to highlight worthy wide receivers, pumping out NFL-caliber talents on a yearly basis. More than 80,000 Buckeye fans filled the Shoe in Columbus for the Buckeyes’ Spring Game on Saturday. Even more of them watched the game on Fox’s nationally televised broadcast, the first-ever Spring Game on national television.

The Buckeyes boast one of the most talented rosters in college football, and the product on the field lived up to expectations. Fans had their first opportunity to watch incoming freshman Jeremiah Smith, the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2024 class, but few expected to see senior wide receiver Emeka Egbuka come down with this jaw-dropping snag.

“The highlight of the day so far,” Eleven Warriors Dan Hope reacted on X.

Even though Ohio State won’t be without generational talent Marvin Harrison Jr., there’s comfort in knowing there’s a whole stable full of top-tier pass catchers waiting in the wings.
