Kate Martin Gives Honest Review Of Clash With Caitlin Clark

On Saturday, Kate Martin and the Las Vegas Aces defeated Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever by a final score of 99-80. The Fever moved to 1-6 in the 2024 WNBA season, while the Aces jumped to 3-1.

Martin outscored Clark in the matchup, recording 12 points on 3 of 5 shooting. She hit 50% of her three-point attempts. Clark struggled throughout the game, only scoring eight points on 2 of 8 shooting. Clark also recorded five rebounds and seven assists.

After the game, Martin sat down for a postgame press conference and gave an honest review of the clash with her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate.

"You know, it's just really cool. We're both living out our dreams right now. We both always wanted to get to this point and we're doing that right now," Martin said, "We're just really grateful that we're in this position and we have this opportunity, so it's pretty cool to experience that."
