Earlier this month, Caitlin Clark was drafted first overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Fanatics later announced that she set a merchandise-sales record for a draft pick.

Within one hour of Clark getting picked by the Indiana Fever, her rookie jersey sold out in all major sizes. It was the quickest sellout Fanatics experienced... until now.

It took just 10 days for Clark's merchandise-sales record to be broken.

Caleb Williams, the former USC and OU quarterback, was the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday night. He's heading to the Chicago Bears where he's expected to be an NFL superstar. Fans are clearly confident in him achieving that lofty goal.

Williams broke Clark's Fanatics record on Thursday night. His jersey set the record for the most merchandise sales for any draft pick in any sport.

After breaking Clark's record, Williams sent a four-word message to her and the rest of the sports world, acknowledging Chicago sports fans as the reason he was able to break the 10-day-old record.

"That’s Chicago for ya," Williams said .

Caleb Williams isn't the only Chicago sports superstar selling merchandise, though.

Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark's top rival, was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA Draft. Reese's jersey also sold out soon after she was drafted.
