Around 7 p.m. on April 25, the Herrin Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance in the 600 block of South 12th Street in Herrin, Illinois. It was reported that a suspect, identified as a 28-year-old Herrin man had retreated into a home at 620 S. 12th St. in Herrin after allegedly discharging a firearm.
