HERRIN, Ill. (KFVS) - First responders rushed to the scene of a reported stabbing at a gas station in Herrin on Tuesday afternoon, February 27. Herrin Police said they received a call around 4 p.m. that a man was stabbing a woman inside the Hucks gas station store on Park Avenue.

Marion, Illinois library to host car maintenance classes throughout March
MARION, IL — The Marion Carnegie Library is hosting car maintenance classes for minors between the ages of 10 and 18 as part of their Automotive Maintenance Month. According to a news release from the library, the classes will be held at 1 p.m. every Saturday in March. The classes were made possible by the library’s PNG at MCL program and by Hale’s automotive of Marion, who will lend their service truck to the library each weekend in March.
