Man Arrested After Brandishing Firearm From Truck in Santa Rosa
A man was arrested in Santa Rosa after brandishing a firearm while driving. Last Friday afternoon, someone called police to report that a man driving a truck on the 3200 block of Coffey Lane brandished a firearm at him. After being given a description, police found the truck driving westbound on Piner Road. They pulled it over and detained the driver, 37-year-old Parviz Recinos of Van Nuys. Two fully loaded firearms were found in the center console of the truck. He was arrested on several gun related charges.

Fletcher Pinkham is accused of killing his own mother last week in Mendocino County and then burning down her home in an attempt to destroy the evidence. The 75-year-old woman’s remains were found three days later. Deputies found Pinkham’s car along with guns and ammunition in a wooded area nearby at the time of the fire.
Car Thief Who Evaded Sonoma County Authorities Still On the Loose
A suspected car thief is still on the loose after leading authorities on a dramatic chase that went through Cotati. A California Highway Patrol officer tried to pull the driver over for running a stop sign on Todd Road in Santa Rosa Saturday night, but the driver took off. He later ran a red light and hit a car, injuring two innocent people inside. The suspect and his passenger, a woman, then ran to a nearby gas station in Cotati. The woman was arrested, but the man stole a second car at a gas pump and drove it at more than 100-miles-per-hour. A CHP helicopter lost sight of the car in a heavily wooded area and the chase was called off. A dog belonging to the owner of the second car was inside when it was stolen and has not yet been found.

Man Who Stole Tesla and Sped Through Santa Rosa In Court Tuesday
A man accused of stealing a Tesla and leading police on two chases in and near Santa Rosa is due in court tomorrow. Police say 24-year-old Jordan McGetchin stole a Tesla parked in front of the owner’s home on Carr Avenue early Sunday morning. Santa Rosa police officers found the Tesla, but McGetchin took off, eventually hitting speeds of more than 100-miles-per-hour in residential areas. Police called off the chase due to safety concerns. Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies spotted the Tesla a short time later and tried to pull it over, but McGetchin took off a second time. That chase didn’t last long, after McGetchin crashed into a fence on a residential property on Fulton Road just south of River Road. He was arrested and was not injured in the crash.
