SANTA ROSA -- Police in Santa Rosa are investigating a shooting Monday night that injured a 19-year-old woman, according to a news release shared Wednesday by police. Officers responded to a 9:35 p.m. report Monday of shots fired in the 600 block of Dutton Avenue and found a Ford Mustang with both front side windows shattered and several shell casings on the ground but no suspects or victims. High Speed Chase in Windsor Ends with Crash and Two Arrests
Two people have been arrested after a high speed chase in Windsor ends in a crash. Early Monday morning, police got a call about someone loading luggage into a car on Wilson Lane. Someone had stolen some of the luggage and the victim described a nearby suspicious SUV. A deputy spotted the SUV in a nearby parking lot but it drove away as the deputy approached. That led to a chase through a neighborhood with speeds reaching 80 miles-per-hour. It ended in the Windsor Mobile Country Club neighborhood when the SUV crashed through two fences and stopped after hitting a tree. The driver, Bradley Justis, ran from the scene and was arrested an hour later after he was found in a backyard shed. The passenger, Denise MacArthur, stayed in the SUV and was arrested there.
Two Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder in Alleged Targeted Attack in Petaluma
A Sonoma County man and a juvenile have reportedly been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in what police allege was a targeted gang-related attack. According to a department press release, Santa Rosa Police Officers responded to a reported shooting incident on the 600 block of Aston Avenue on Tuesday, May 30. According to witnesses, two unidentified suspects were seen fleeing the scene towards the east on Aston Avenue just before the arrival of law enforcement.
Santa Rosa police: 2 men sought in Joe Rodota Trail stabbing
Police are seeking two men wanted in connection with the stabbing of a man on the Joe Rodota Trail, authorities said. Police responded to Sebastopol Road and Dutton Avenue, about a block from the trail, at 2:12 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a man who had been stabbed, Santa Rosa Police Lt. Chris Mahurin said in a news release.
