Early Voting for Limestone County Primary Runoff begins Monday
The primary runoff election's early voting period is scheduled from Monday, May 20, to Friday, May 24, with the actual election day occurring on Tuesday, May 28. In Limestone County, the runoff election concerns the County Commissioner Precinct 1 seat and will feature candidates Kendall Funderburk and Jody Goodman. Funderburk led by a narrow margin of just 55 votes in the initial Republican primary election.A key reminder: only individuals who cast votes in the Republican primary or abstained from voting entirely are eligible to participate in the primary runoff.For early voting, residents can visit the Limestone County Courthouse between Monday, May 20, and Thursday, May 24, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Alternatively, voting is available at the Mexia Civic Center during the same period, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
