BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a missing Bradenton woman. Rebecca Hartley, 35, was last seen around 9 p.m. on Wednesday in the 300 block of 60th Avenue Terrace West in her tan Jeep Liberty with Florida tag 31BPCM.

• A smoke shop in Bradenton was robbed at gunpoint by two men. • One of the robbers pointed a gun at employees while the other acted as a lookout. • The robber with the gun was caught on surveillance camera and described as 5'9" tall and 165 pounds, wearing black cargo pants, a black jacket, and tan work boots.
Man, girl injured in Manatee County shooting, suspect at large
MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A man and a young girl were injured during a shooting in the 3700 block of 37th Street East in Palmetto Wednesday morning, deputies said. Around 8 a.m., an unknown person fired several gunshots into a home, striking the 47-year-old man in the leg. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
57-Year-Old Predator Moves to Sarasota, Police Warn
The Sarasota Police Department is informing the public that Jeffrey Earl Smith, 57, a sexual predator, has moved into the City of Sarasota, a social media release states. According to the Instagram post from the Sarasota Police Department, Smith is a sexual predator who just moved to 1432 17th Street, Sarasota. Smith was designated as a Sexual Predator in July 1997, when the now 57-year-old was charged with sexual battery with a weapon or by force.
