Softball Player of the Week: Immaculata’s Caitlin Maychrich wins Week 3 honors
The Immaculata High School softball team has returned to a level it hasn’t seen in more than two decades, winners of 20 games a season ago and firmly on pace to surpass that this year. The Spartans are loaded with talent, including some standout seniors, and shortstop Caitlin Maychrich is certainly at the top of that list. She was certainly front and center last week as Immaculata swept four games, including a big win over North Hunterdon and a sweep at Saturday’s Ricky Iacono Tournament at Governor Livingston.
