Prosecutor's Identify Three Victims Killed in Major Accident on Route 1
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Prosecutors have identified the three victims that were killed in a major car accident at the intersection of Ridge Road and Route 1. The victims have been identified as follows: Charisse Nelson-Bailey, age 22, Daniel Vida, age 28, and Maria Passalaris, age 25. The crash occurred at 9:26 AM on Friday, April 12. Authorities say that a tractor trailer had struck a van at the intersection. The van then struck two other vehicles and the tractor trailer caught fire. Arrest made days after man’s fingers are severed in violent attack under N.J. bridge
Perth Amboy police have arrested 24-year-old man charged with slashing a man and cutting off some of his fingers during a violent attack under the Victory Bridge days earlier. Ziyare Palmer has been charged with attempted murder, weapons offenses and motor vehicle theft in what Perth Amboy police described as a domestic violence assault.
