Baseball: Woodbridge Clinches GMC White Division, Beating Edison, 4-1

WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- Woodbridge scored all its runs in the fourth inning and went on to a 4-1 baseball victory over Edison on Saturday.

The victory, the Barrons' second over Edison in three days, clinched the White Division title of the Greater Middlesex Conference for Woodbridge (12-2).

Senior right-hander Drew Lukachyk pitched a complete-game four-hitter for the victory. He struck out nine batters, walked one and threw 87 pitches.

Woodbridge won despite getting only two hits. The Barrons drew nine walks and stole nine bases. Lukachyk had three stolen bases and Gavin Slicner and Derek Anderson each stole two bases. Tim Deignan and Xavier Diaz had the hits for the Barrons.
