This past weekend certainly wasn’t all about the Transfer Portal for Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and his staff as the Buffaloes secured commitments from three of their top prospects . They also continued to improve their position with several more.

IMG Academy four-star cornerback Alex Graham announced his pledge to Sanders and company on Friday with Bluff City (Tenn.) Sullivan East tight end Corbin Laisure and Buford (Ga.) High linebacker Mantrez Walker making their commitments public during Saturday’s spring game festivities.

The first blue-chipper to arrive on campus this past week was Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage On300 running back Byron Louis who spent four days on campus. Assistant Director of Player Personnel Devin Rispress has been helping lead the charge there.

“Electric,” Louis said of the experience. Colorado is battling Florida State, Miami and Ohio State among others. “CU has real fans. Even in the rain they came out to support. They really believe in Coach Prime!”

The four-star Louis believes in Sanders too.

“Plus, all the support that’s around him from the coaching staff to the great recruiters,” Louis said.

Louis will soon announce his upcoming official visits on May 1.

A few other touted Sunshine State prospects that Rispress has Colorado in the middle of it for that made it up were Cocoa (Fla.) High On300 edge rusher and Florida State commit Javion Hilson , Tampa (Fla.) Sumner On300 offensive tackle Ziyare Addison and Tampa (Fla.) Robinson On300 edge Jesse Harrold .

“It was great,” Hilson said. Other contenders include Alabama, Florida, UCF, Texas A&M and Syracuse. “Got to meet Coach Prime. We had a good talk.”

This was Addison’s second visit of the spring to Colorado.

“The atmosphere in Boulder was electric,” Addison stated. “Even with the rain! It was very impressive to see the whole program in action. The coaching staff reiterated that I’m a top priority for them, and they really appreciated me and my family making the trip out for the spring game.

“This just solidified my excitement about the direction the Colorado program is headed.”

Gaffney (SC) High On300 offensive lineman Shed Sarratt was offered during his visit.

“The trip was fun,” Sarrat said. “Learning from an NFL player that was in the position that I’m in now makes it great. Exploring the city is what made it fun. I like how the program is centered around former NFL players.

Sarratt wasn’t the only one from South Carolina on campus. Irmo (SC) High 2026 receiver Donovan Murph made it in. He had a big sophomore season turning 57 receptions into 1,084 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Addison and Sarrat certainly weren’t the only coveted offensive linemen soaking in the festivities. Five-star Michael Fasusi was in town as Colorado aims to make a move on programs like Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Missouri, Oregon and Georgia. Mobile (Ala.) Vigor On300 recruit Micah DeBose visited as well. The Buffaloes are in that one alongside Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Ohio State.
