Construction begins on Bella Balle Condominiums in downtown Cullman
CULLMAN, Ala. – Construction has begun on Bella Balle Condominiums, a three-story development that will add four condominiums and ground-floor commercial space to downtown Cullman, according to the Cullman Economic Development Agency (CEDA). Stephen Gannon’s project is expected to take 12-14 months to complete. Susan Eller, CEDA’s retail and workforce development manager, provided the construction update following a groundbreaking for the building. Public real estate listings place the development at 208 Fourth St. SE, adjacent to Hele Bowls and 412 Public House, which Gannon owns. Plans call for commercial space on the first floor, with two condominiums on each of the second and third floors, Eller said. “One has already been sold to a local family,” she said in her written update. Eller did not identify the buyer or disclose the purchase price. Real estate listings provide additional details about the residential portion of the project. The advertised units have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with listed floor areas ranging from 1,983 to 2,040 square feet. Asking prices range from $649,900 to $699,900. Those figures are advertised prices, not confirmed sale prices. A listing dated Nov. 3 advertises Unit 2B, a 2,040-square-foot condominium, for $649,900. The listing provides another look
