Non-profit buys new system to help Lake Guntersville boaters
GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A local non-profit is purchasing two new CD3 systems to be placed at boat ramps on Lake Guntersville. The W.E.T. Foundation says the new waterless systems provide a way for day boaters to clean, drain and dry their boats and trailers. The non-profit hopes this helps reduce the transportation of invasive aquatic plants and other species, like eelgrass, which has been a problem in Lake Guntersville for some time.

CULLMAN, Ala. – On April 18, 2024, various county school students met at the Alabama Farm Credit headquarters in Cullman for the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) County Poultry Cook-off. The event was sponsored by the Farmers Federations, Poultry and Egg Association and Alabama Farm Credit. The poultry cook-off had two categories: casseroles and whole pieces. Good Samaritan Health Clinic unveils plans for new $2.8M location
CULLMAN, Ala. – Good Samaritan Health Clinic at a community press conference on Monday, April 22, unveiled plans for its new home, a $2.8 million facility that will be located along Veterans Drive Southwest. The clinic is almost two-thirds of the way to its $2.8 million goal to build the facility.
