Three Hurt in Construction Zone Crash in DeKalb County
Three people were rushed for treatment, at a nearby hospital in DeKalb County – following a single-vehicle crash outside of Fort Payne on Wednesday evening. Alabama State Troopers and others responded to that wreck on I-59 after reports came in regarding a 2017 Ford Focus that had crashed in a construction zone, injuring both that driver, who is listed as being a female from New Orleans, Louisiana and also a pair of passengers both listed as residents of Keener, Louisiana, and both female as well. The wreck reportedly took place shortly after 7:00pm when the vehicle accidentally entered the construction zone and crashed.
