Funeral service for Eleanor Louise Cole, age 87 of Baileyton, will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Lystra Baptist church with John Garrison officiating; burial at Lystra Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cole passed away on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, at Diversicare of Arab. She was born Friday, Feb. 19, 1937, to Coleman Stapler and Wynelle Stapler. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Marcia Cole-Webb, and brother, James Stapler. Survivors include her husband, Henry Cole; daughters, Debra (Bruce) Yonon and Kristen Battiato; grandchildren, Kevin Yonon, Kelly Bijur, Brian Alonso and Samantha Maysonet; great-grandchildren, Camila, Lorena, Cullen, Dylan, Knox, Kern, Hayden and Maverick; Sisters Carol Fay Pearson and Bonita Thompson. MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) - Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be filling in as substitute teachers on Friday. Mike Swafford with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said a few of the deputies at the office will be going to Hartselle schools to fill in for teachers as they will be attending Beau Clark’s funeral. Swafford said the teachers wanted to be able to attend the funeral to honor Clark.
