Charles Rickey Robinson, of Holly Pond, Alabama, entered into the presence of our Lord on Tuesday morning, April 16, 2024, at the age of 79. Mr. Robinson was born in Muskogee County, Georgia, on August 15, 1944, to the late Otis Lee and Louis Elaine Whitaker Robinson. Mr. Robinson was employed by SCI for many years working in telecommunications as a commercial electrician. Rickey was married to the love of his life, Mary Faye Bright Robinson, for 59 years. Together they worshipped their Savior at Edison Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where Rickey served as an Elder. Rick and Faye were inseparable....

Police: Kidnappers told Decatur teen they were taking him to girlfriend
Arab police on Saturday rescued a Decatur teen who sent a text to 911 after he was allegedly kidnapped, handcuffed and taken to Arab by two men who said they were bringing him to his girlfriend to work out their relationship, according to the Arab Police Department.

Hanceville dropped both of its opening round matchups at Brooks to finish the season 14-10 and Holly Pond fell in a pair of games at North Sand Mountain to wrap up an 8-18 season, but Addison was able to return home with a series win over Covenant Christian to secure a spot in round two.
